Ubud Monkey Forest
The Ubud Monkey Forest is a small nature reserve on the southern outskirts of Ubud. Together with its green surroundings and a magnificent temple are hundreds of monkeys. The Ubud Monkey Forest is a nature reserve and temple complex in Ubud, Bali. It houses more than 200 Crab-eating macaque (Macaca fascicularis) monkeys.

The macaque monkeys who live in this forest are probably the most naughty in all of Bali. Well fed, and most would be used for people who brutally monkeys will grab something that is not nailed down, including your hat, glasses, wallet, purse, camera, water bottle.Monkey Forest itself very pleasant and tolerant with people, with high shady trees, forests and the beautiful Agung Padangtegal temple to the rear.

The Sacred Monkey Forest is a popular tourist attraction in Ubud. The Monkey Forest is in the hands of the village and village Padangtegal members serve on the Monkey Forest the Board. The Mandala Wisata Wenara Wana Foundation manages the Monkey Forest and should maintain its sacred integrity and promote the holy place as a destination for visitors.
