Ubud Gianyar – Bali
Known and recognized as art and cultural center of Bali, Ubud is a special place. Professional artists and future artists, local and expatriate as the years have flocked to Ubud, hoping to make a name for themselves and a good living from art. The large number of museums scattered around Ubud, is proof of the dynamics of creativity in Ubud.
As Ubud is a little higher and uneven, the temperature is slightly cooler compared to the tourist areas of the south. Beautiful rice terraces climbing the steep slope, with the rainforest in the river valleys provide a picturesque setting. Fine luxury boutique hotels and villas, and a good number of houses and a wide variety of restaurants for every budget and lifestyle.
