Airport Jakarta and Bali to the Pilot Project Tax Refund
Airport Jakarta and Bali will be a pilot project (pilot project) the first application of tax refund in 2010. Section, Tax refund or return of money paid by foreign tourists visiting Indonesia to pay Value Added Tax (VAT) will apply to the new April 2010 in accordance with the application of Law Number 42 Year 2009 on sales tax on luxury goods.

Entering Indonesia without visa is possible now only for nationals of the following 11 countries and territories: Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Morocco, Peru, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Citizens of the above countries will be issued on arrival a stay permit for 30 days free on presentation of a passport valid at least another 6 months. This residence permit can not be extended or converted into another type of visa.
