Sanur Village Festival 2009
Initiated by the community of Sanur on the Sanur Development Foundation, first in Sanur Village Festival will be held to revive tourism industry and attract more tourists visit this area and the island of Bali. Famous for his retirement Sanur is the first tourist destination in Bali and the only tourist resort type object in the hands of the municipality of Denpasar.
Since the first celebration of the Sanur Village Festival, this event is included in the Bali as a calendar of annual tourist attractions. The fourth Sanur Village Festival is set for 12-16 August 2009 on the same site with full of fun activities in five days festival. This year’s theme of “Marine Life” in line with the expansion of our national program Visit Indonesia Year 2009.
Cultural activities continue to dominate this festival such as traditional performances, parade, music, collaboration show, water sports and food festival as our main attraction, not to mention our green programs underwater festival with its coral reefs plantation. We invite everyone to participate and enjoy an unforgettable experience in the serene beauty of Sanur.
