Sanur Beach

Sanur beach is nine kilometers south of Denpasar and full of high prices of luxury hotels and bungalows in groups of serenity compound leaves along the bank of a gentle, reef immune to the lagoon.

Sanur Beach Foot Steps

Guest rooms that appear here as early as the 1940s and announces the age of modern tourism on the island. Grand hotel enclaves, inland from the shadows, trees, walls of coral and giving the village a park like setting.

The sun rise over Pulau Nusa Penida each morning is magnificent. At sunset, sailboats point Sanur the horizon. Major luxury hotels that have made famous Sanur are on the side streets off the main street and its dukun and trance mediums are known throughout the island.

Sanur Beach Like A Painting

The trees are mature, streets in good condition and there is less than the construction or Kuta Lovina. Sanur is the preferred long-term residence for expatriates in Bali who prefer the ocean and the city. The most exclusive private, separated by drapé vine walls of coral and palm-lined avenues, are in the district of Batu Jimbar.

Under these compounds are elegant luxurious gardens, pools, lotus ponds, well-tended lawns and elegant, traditional-roofed villas. Because of its prestige and snob appeal, the Sanur area is also a favorite of diplomats and foreign consulates.

Only 2.5 km south of the Grand Bali Beach Hotel, just beyond the village of Kesiman, is a main memory, Padanggalak. From the beach to enjoy fine views of the coastline and Sanur administration line. ” It was on that beach that Dutch forces finally submitted the Balinese landed in 1906.

Sanur Beach When Sun Set

Thirty-six years later Dutch fleeing the Japanese are also here to earth. And in 1946, the Dutch were back again, trying to restore control over their former colony, using KNIL units of assembly and the stubborn resistance of the Balinese.

Padanggalak also commemorates a tragedy. A monument is dedicated to people who died in the crash of a Pan Am Boeing 707 that crashed on the side of Gunung Patas west of Singaraja, 22 April 1974.

Deceiving the lights of vessels and platforms fishing off the coast north of the runway lights at Bali’s airport Tuban in the south, the pilot came down and crashed head in the mountains, killing all 107 people on board. Visitors from 11 countries are here to pay tribute to death, bringing flowers and offerings at the small altar containing the ashes of the victims.

The village of Sanur on the east coast of Bali beach is ideal for snorkeling because it is protected by a coral reef. Sanur Bali is the first resort.
