Jimbaran Bay – A Traditional Seaside Seafood Restaurant

>Located south of Bali, halfway between the airport and Nusa Dua is the fishing village of Jimbaran with its beautiful bay, long stretch of white sandy beach with clear water and brightly colored boats anchored along the coast . Jimbaran is still a bit rustic, but in recent years a number of luxury villas and five star hotels have been put on the map Jimbaran area of luxury.

Jimbaran is a fishing village and tourist in Bali, Indonesia – the beach is full of seafood restaurants and some of the best luxury hotels in the world. Tourism in Jimbaran has increased rapidly that has boosted the local economy, but suffered from the attacks in Bali in 2005 when the bomb exploded at a restaurant in Jimbaran.

Jimbaran is in the “neck” of the southern peninsula of Bali and is widely known for fresh seafood kiosks that are scattered along the beach. Diners select the live seafood to eat, and was prepared immediately, usually grilled over the fire of coconut shells instead of charcoal. The market for seafood in Jimbaran beach is probably the biggest in Bali and has the widest selection of fresh seafood. And in relation to the market for seafood there are also traditional seafood restaurants on the beach to the sea where you can enjoy the catch of the day – and very popular with locals and visitors.
