Balinale International Film Festival 21-31 October 2009

>Balinale, an international film festival to be held in Bali. In this film festival, 50 films from 20 countries will be displayed, including Indonesia. This event will be held on 21-31 October 2009. Balinale Opening will be held at the Galleria 21, Simpang Siur, Kuta.

Sarita Newson, founder of the foundation Taksu Bali Indonesia, said the name was taken so Balinale more memorable and entertaining, because this event was held to entertain all walks of life. Meanwhile, Bulantrisna Djelantik, trustee, hopes that this festival can be a bridge cultural and Indonesia can enter the world film industry, because many movies are located in Indonesia.

In launching the film festival at the restaurant Balinale Bebek Bali, Jakarta, also attended Marshanda. This multi-talent artist involved from fundraising events for the implementation of this festival, in August last.
