Bali Market Mania at Pasar Badung
>Most visitors to Bali simply adore going to the markets, due to the great shopping bargains, the enjoyment of walking around the stands to see almost the same in each stand, getting hassled by stall-owners, but their goods, and generally, the mere pleasure of negotiating the price product you want to buy, whether sarung or one of those trashy ‘Fuck the Terrorists’ T-Shirts, or even a bed.

The list goes on. In Denpasar, everybody heads down to the Badung market (Pasar Badung), although smaller. In a crowded and dusty-dry market Denpasar is not everyone cup of tea, but this is all part of the joy of market mania. The angle between Jalan Gajah Mada (Denpasar, one of the main transport routes) and Jalan Sulawesi, the city is the largest market, pasar Badung, housed in the three-story building.
Fresh vegetables and fruit sold in the basement, crafts, textiles, clothing, etc., in the upper floors. In pasar Badung has its own domestic church. Around the corner are fishmongers – half conceal the Balinese Hindus believe that the sea is inhabited by demons and evil spirits, because there is no doubt, are creatures who live in it.
Each has its own specific market, where ‘I know a few people’ and where they can get a ‘good price’, but it’s sheer liveliness and color of these markets, as well as owners of the stables that make each trip to market enjoyable. Here are just a few of those vibrant colors, the goods and what makes a visit to the market for the next trip to Bali a must-see destination.
