Bali Held National and International Kempo Tournaments on July 2009
>Image Plans are in place for Bali to host a national championship Kempo followed by an international championship in the sport. The championships will attract 400 Kenshi from 20 countries on July 25-26, 2009, Bali Lila Bhuana Sports Complex. Among the countries that should participate in Russia, Sweden, Australia, Timor Leste, United States, Brazil.

The Vice-Chairman of the Indonesian Kempo Association (Perkemi), Fredrik Billy told the press that preparations for the championships are now up to 70%. A team of animators and Kempo Japanese officials visited Bali on 22-24 May to review preparations for the events. According to Billy, the team of Japan and Indonesia a total of 12 people found no obstacle that could hinder the championships in July.
Regarding the participation of athletes, we have coordinated with Travel Agencies, “said Billy. We have asked the state security,” said Billy.
Just before the World Championships in Bali, the island perkemi will host the Open Championships in Indonesian Kempo. To be held July 20-22, The international meeting will be held July 25-26 in Indonesia victorious athletes at the championships of Indonesia won the right to represent their country in international championships three days later.
