Alas Kedaton – Monkey of Forest
Alas Kedaton is a small forest measuring 12 hectars, where you can see, hundreds of monkeys in their natural habitat. This is one place in Bali, where monkeys are available, freely and peacefully. There are hundreds of monkeys in this forest and high up on the big trees many bats hang area and sing with their voices.
The hotel is located in Sangeh Village of six hectares of forest is populated with giant trees up to 40 metre in height. Horder of Balinese monkeys that inhabit both trees and temple, Pura Bukit Sari, located in the heart of the forest will welcome you into the woods, some of them even dared to your neighborhood. The monkeys have been well acquainted with the human community, but be careful – sometimes in their efforts to food, they will snap up some opposition to trade in food. Be aware that monkeys are easily attracted by shiny objects, such as cameras, jewelry, watches and glasses – best leave these things behind or keep it hidden.
