Holiday Destination – Dreamland Beach Bali
Dreamland was the largest white sand beach on the Bukit. The beach is still in good shape and there may be 20 warung again. Construction is booming, to the point of the 4-lanes, branches of the Dreamland beach. Mostly there are black mud, and then broke sharply down the slope to the parking area. You can get bikes and cars near the beach. Driving time approximately 25 minutes.
Goa Gajah – The Elephant Cave in Gianyar Bali

Chinese Tourist Increased 19.93% – Visited Bali Island
Based on statistics from the Central Office of Statistics (BPS) – total of 34,539 Chinese tourists visited Bali in the first two months of 2009, or 11.35% of total foreign tourist arrivals to the island over the period.

“The number of Chinese tourists has increased by 5,740 or 19.93% over the same period last year, when 28,799 Chinese tourists visited Bali,” said head of the Bali Provincial Office of the Central Office for Statistics (BPS) Ida Komang Wisnu.

Taman Ayun Temple Mengwi – Badung
Taman Ayun temple was built in the 17th century by the Raja, I Gusti Agung Anom, the temple served as the family temple of the Mengwi dynasty, whose kingdom survived until the late 1800s. The temple is famous for its exquisite wooden merus, or pagoda-like shrines. The kingdom of Mengwi was strong enough for large parts of Badung, Tabanan and Gianyar from the first part of the 17th century until the second half of the 19th century.
Police Officers Warn Half Naked Tourists
Denpasar – The head of Bali’s Police Department, Ashikin Husien, ordered every police officer to keep an eye on foreign tourists who often wear very little clothing or are even half naked while riding motorcycles.

“If the officers come across this kind of violation, the tourists can be warned or given a shirt to wear. However, we must select the right offenders. We don’t want every body runing around half naked in order to get free shirts,” added Husein.
Indonesian Military Plane Crashes With 24 On Board (April 6, 2009)
Twenty-four military personnel were killed on Monday when their Fokker-27 plane crashed into a hangar at the airport in West Java in the middle of heavy rain and burst into fire, officials said. Turboprop aircraft have made the landing after a regular training flight when the accident occurred at around 1:05 local time (1135 ist) in Bandung, 110 km southeast of Jakarta, an Indonesian air force spokesman said.
