History of Gajah Mada Town Festival
If we look at back in year 1964, It seems the title of Gajah Mada Town Festival on this occasion to get inspiration from the “Festival of Gajah Mada” (FGM) which was held during the week, 1-7 July 1964 at Gajah Mada Street Denpasar.
Candi Dasa Bali
Candidasa on hilly bank, beside the main road between Semarapura towns Amlapura (Karangasem). It is located about 50 km to the east road from Denpasar town or 1.5 hours from Bali’s International Airport. The inner sanctum of the pura is perched majestically on the edge of a steep cliff that towers over legendary surf breaks in Southern Bali. While I am not sure what the view is like from the inner temple itself, the views are best enjoyed at two different points of vantage point in both northern and southern parts of the region.
Alas Kedaton – Monkey of Forest
Alas Kedaton is a small forest measuring 12 hectars, where you can see, hundreds of monkeys in their natural habitat. This is one place in Bali, where monkeys are available, freely and peacefully. There are hundreds of monkeys in this forest and high up on the big trees many bats hang area and sing with their voices.
